When Paul (Tom Hudson) enters the restaurant to find Leanne (Jane Danson) changing the burnt tablecloth, he comments how easily accidents happen in a restaurant - especially with candles and cookers everywhere and as he goes it's clear he's reinforced Leanne’s feeling that an accidental fire could be easier than she thought. Later, Leanne goes to the bookies to meet Dan (Matthew Crompton) and after an afternoon of passion, he's shocked that she's considering arson but Leanne assures him she's not being serious. Later, Leanne tells Dan that, hypothetically, if she was going to torch the restaurant, she'd get Paul to do it for her because he worships her and would do anything she asked. Dan's incredulous, is Leanne serious about committing arson? Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) moves in to No.5, much to Kirk’s (Andrew Whyment) delight, and is relieved when the social worker agrees to let Chesney (Sam Aston) move back in after inspecting the house. However, when Kirk starts enthusing about how they're going to be one big happy family and suggests he and Fiz share a room - Fiz is worried. She's relieved to have Chesney back but is living with Kirk going to be harder than she thought? David’s (Jack P Shepherd) nervous about going to the hospital with Tina (Michelle Keegan) – worried that she may jog Gail’s (Helen Worth) memory. However, when they arrive Gail seems none the wiser and David is relieved when she apologises to him about the abortion and tells him how pleased she is that he and Tina have patched things up. However, later when David asks the doctor about Gail’s memory returning, he’s concerned to learn that there is a chance she may regain it. Meanwhile, Tina seems uneasy that she’s become so embroiled in David’s mess. Will Gail remember how David left her for dead? Elsewhere, Becky (Katherine Kelly) is thrilled about being Roy’s (David Neilson) new lodger and persuades him to go for a celebratory drink with her in the Rovers. However, Roy’s mortified when Becky jokes about their "co-habiting" arrangement in front of Steve (Simon Gregson) and Lloyd (Craig Charles). Will living with Becky be harder than he thought? Also, Bill (Peter Armitage) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) are pleased when Tony (Gray O'Brien) offers them some help with getting the contract for the new flats.
