Gail (Helen Worth) is still unconscious in intensive care and David (Jack P Shepherd) is petrified when the doctors reveal that she's badly injured but should come round soon. Audrey (Sue Nicholls) is stunned when the police arrive to inform her that they suspect it wasn't an accident and Gail was pushed. Meanwhile, the police are looking for witnesses and Claire (Julia Haworth) is quick to mention she saw an agitated looking Jason (Ryan Thomas) leave the Platts around the same time as Gail's fall. Back at the hospital, David struggles to contain his panic when the doctor informs them that she's regained consciousness and is ready for questioning.
