Violet (Jenny Platt) is in labour in the pub and as Marcus (Charlie Condou) takes on the role of midwife, Violet gives birth with an elated Sean (Antony Cotton) at her side. Marcus presents them with a healthy baby boy and there are tears all round as Violet embraces her babyAt the hospital Jamie (Rupert Hill) rushes in, apologising that he couldn’t be there earlier, but as Jamie sees Sean cradling his son its clear he feels excluded and is worried about how much Sean has bonded with the baby. Later, when Sean questions where Jamie was heading in such a rush, he stutters an excuse and Sean is suspicious. Violet and Jamie decide that for now, their plans are on hold they can't bring themselves to take the baby away from Sean and they both feel utterly trapped. How long will she remain pleased that David's a normal teenager? And Dan takes Kelly for a slap up meal at the Italian and noting that Jack (William Tarmey) is in the restaurant tells Leanne (Jane Danson) he’s already sorted the bill with Paul (Tom Hudson).
