As the factory girls continue to gossip about Carla (Alison King) and Tony (Gray O'Brien), its clear that shes not as fine as shes making out and when Tony turns up to give her a cheque he takes her keys from her handbag when she's not looking and lets himself into the flat. When she arrives home, shes worried when the door to the flat is unlocked. She swings it open to hear noises from within. Who is in Carlas flat? Alex's (Dario Coates) presence is still causing tension at the Rovers and when Alex reveals he has a nut allergy, Michelle (Kym Ryder) is distressed at how little she knows about her own son. Meanwhile, Ryans not the only one who seems to have a problem with Alex moving in with them and Michelle is getting tired of having to defend him to Vernon (Ian Reddignton) and Liz (Beverley Callard). Will Michelle give in to the pressure and give up Alex? Violet (Jenny Platt) is annoyed when she hears how Sean (Antony Cotton) has been talking about how Marcus (Charlie Condou) and he are so well equipped for looking after the baby. Later, when her afternoon off is interrupted by Sean and a professional cleaner she's furious. Hes convinced hes being helpful when he tells Violet to make herself scarce as the cleaner makes the flat fit for a home birth. However, when she rushes over to the cab office to tell Jamie the latest, shes exasperated when Steve comments that Sean is just getting excited about his baby. How much more can Violet take? Elsewhere, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Molly (Vicky Binns) are buying the house and have asked Jack (William Tarmey) to carry on living with them, Jack's delighted but asks if they could reconsider making Paul leave.
