Jason (Ryan Thomas) has left for Milan and as Eileen's (Sue Cleaver) battle with Gail (Helen Worth) over her threat to tell Sarah about Becky (Katherine Kelly) turns physical, Jerry (Michael Starke) is forced to step in and make Gail see sense - they need to sort out their own problems. In the café, oblivious Becky is on a high after her night with Jason and goes to the shops to buy some new clothes that she can't afford and its not long before she's talking to Roy about marriage and making sure everyone in the cafe knows she's seeing Jason Grimshaw. Dressed up to the nines, she goes round to see him after work unaware that hes on his way to Italy. Eileen breaks it to her to a heartbroken Becky who leaves shaking, cold and vulnerable as her hopes of romance are shattered once again. Will Becky ever find love? Over in the pub, Maria (Samia Smith) is chuffed at how well shes getting on with Liams (Rob James-Collier) parents and when Carla (Alison King) comes in with Tony and Liams mum Helen remarks about how quickly she got over Paul, Marias secretly pleased. Carla tells Tony (Gray O'Brien) that she's relieved she's no longer a part of the Connor family, but as she watches Liam playing happy families with Maria, it's clear she's jealous. Will she spoil succeed in coming between them? Sean (Antony Cotton) cant believe that as the father to the baby hes not allowed an opinion on the birth but they agree that the most important thing is Violets (Jenny Platt) stress level and a fragile truce is struck. Sean sets about making life as stress free as possible but as attentive Sean proves to be worse than interfering Sean, Violet's relieved when Marcus (Charlie Condou) takes Sean out on a date to give her some peace and quiet.Elsewhere, after Lauren (Lucy Evans) took money from Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) claiming she was skint, Mels (Emma Edmondson) furious to see her modelling a new top. Also Michelle (Kym Ryder) is hurt when she's stood up by Alex (Dario Coates).
