Carla (Alison King) and Liam (Rob James-Collier) leave for their business trip and Maria (Samia Smith) still feels uncomfortable about the situation but hides her jealousy from Carla. When they arrive at the hotel and discover there’s only one room booked under Mr and Mrs Connor and no other available rooms, Liam's suspicious but reluctantly agrees to change in Carla’s room and feeling uncomfortable about the situation, refrains from telling Maria about the mix up. As Liam showers in the hotel room - the sexual chemistry is inescapable as Carla jokes about ripping her clothes off and jumping in the shower with him. While Liam's in the bathroom Carla answers his phone to an incredulous Maria and enjoys winding her up about Liam showering in her room. Maria's paranoia has now reached a peak and as Liam gets a glimpse of Carla undressing in the bathroom so has the sexual tension. Will Liam be able to resist Carla? Jack (William Tarmey) receives a condolence card from Terry and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Molly (Vicky Binns) wonder if he should be invited to the funeral. Will Jack call his son and invite him to pay his last respects to Vera? Gail (Helen Worth) has agreed to give David (Jack P Shepherd) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) the house to themselves so as to avoid any future embarrassment. However, when David spots the condoms she's strategically left on the table he's mortified. Also, Liz (Beverley Callard) and Vernon (Ian Reddington) arrive back from their honeymoon and Dan (Mathew Crompton) is getting increasingly annoyed that Harry (Jack Ellis) seems to have become a permanent lodger in his flat.
