Maria (Samia Smith) is busily making preparations for the wedding and when she pops into the factory to tell Liam (Rob James-Collier) about the flowers, she’s furious as Carla (Alison King) interrupts her to draw his attention to the fact that there are mini-bars at the hotel they’re staying at in Birmingham. She’s clearly enjoying winding Maria up, and as Maria gets more paranoid, will Carla succeed in driving them apart? There’s an awkward atmosphere at the pub as Michelle (Kym Ryder) waits to hear Ryan’s (Ben Thompson) decision about his biological parents. She's terrified that he'll choose to see Nick (Robert Horwell) and Wendy (Jane Slavin) and prefer them to her and Steve (Simon Gregson), but lies to him that she won't be upset with his decision and she won't see Alex if it'll upset him. However, later when Steve asks Michelle if she wants contact with Alex, she admits she is curious. She’s stuck between fearing she’ll never see Alex again and worrying that if she does, she’ll lose Ryan. Over at the Platt's, Gail (Helen Worth) feels awkward when she walks in on David (Jack P Shepherd) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) on their way up to the bedroom and attepts to give an embarrassed David a lesson about precautions.After a great night out with Lauren (Lucy Evans), Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) is smitten, but is hurt when she doesn’t seem to reciprocate, and Kelly (Tupele Dorgu) is jealous of the money Vicky (Wanda Opalinska) seems to be making form her knickers party. Kelly asks if she needs any help and is furious when Vicky rejects it.
