Maria (Samia Smith) has hardly slept and feels sick about the thought Liam (Rob James -Collier) could be in love with Carla (Alison King). Michelle (Kym Ryder) insists that the only way to set her mind at rest is to discuss it with Liam and as she goes to the hospital, she leaves Maria at the hotel to ponder her thoughts. Liam’s been desperate to see his fiancée and when she arrives on the ward to see him later, an emotional Maria tells him that she wants to bring the wedding forward to February. Liam agrees believing the accident has made her see that life is too short to wait, but Michelle’s shocked when she learns what Maria has done and warns her that this isn’t going to go away. How long can she bury her head in the sand?Tina (Michelle Keegan) - the angry girl from yesterday - arrives late for her appointment at the medical centre and Gail (Helen Worth) takes great pleasure in telling her she’s missed it. After hurling a mouthful of abuse at Gail she storms out into the street and runs straight into David (Jack P Shepherd), spilling her coffee all over his new shirt. David’s immediately fascinated by this fiery young girl and agrees to let it drop if she buys him another drink. As she relates her story about the old bag in the medical centre David realises he’s met his dream girl. Has he found his match? Sally (Sally Whittaker) is worried sick about Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) sentencing and when she learns from Tyrone (Alan Halsall) that he’s been turning down jobs, thinking he wont be around to complete them. Kevin's mates assure him he has nothing to worry about but, as the court date looms, Sally's not so sure.Jack (William Tarmey) and Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) have finally made their choice and settled on a bungalow in Blackpool. Meanwhile, Molly (Vicky Binns) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) think about getting their own feet on the property ladder. Will they make an offer on No. 9?
