Maria (Samia Smith) is in shock as she stares at Liam’s (Rob James-Collier) lifeless body below her. Unable to find a route down to him, she calls out for help but to no avail. Desperate and terrified that the situation is only going to get worse - she sets off to get help. Maria journeys back in the darkness across treacherous terrain and finally arrives at the hotel, where she frantically tells reception to call the Mountain Rescue Team before dissolving into tears. Will they find Liam and will he be alive if they do? As John (Graeme Hawley) goes to work on saving his relationship , Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) can’t help but soften towards him as she's reminded of all the happy times they spent together and as he leans in to kiss her she responds. When Becky (Katherine Kelly) sees what’s going on she’s incredulous but as Fiz babbles excuses Rosie (Helen Flanagan) walks in and the pain of John’s betrayal floods back to her. Remembering how much he’s hurt her, and feeling humiliated, Fiz walks out, telling a confused John that if he loves her, he'll let her go - he's hurt her too deeply. She gathers all her strength to tell him that it’s over before closing the door on him and shutting him out for good. Will Fiz get over her heart break? Over at the Rovers, Michelle (Kym Ryder) senses that Ryan (Ben Thompson) is getting suspicious about the stalker and tells him the police have caught him. Ryan’s delighted and fires a million questions at Michelle, whose web of lies is getting more and more elaborate. How long can she keep up her lies? Elsewhere, Jason (Ryan Thomas) apologises to Becky (Katherine Kelly) for his outburst and is frustrated when he finally receives a message from Sarah telling him to come ot Italy to apologises and sort things out. Will Jason give in and go to Italy after all?Also, Dan (Matthew Crompton) is annoyed when Harry (Jack Ellis) forces him to apologise to Blanche (Maggie Jones) and revokes her ban.
