Sean's (Antony Cotton) upset when Violet (Jenny Platt) chastises him for feeling her bump without asking. He apologises, but when he offers to pay for some of the baby supplies she's bought, Violet declines, clearly worried about how much involvement Sean wants to have with her baby. But she reaches the end of her tether when Jason (Ryan Thomas) accidentally tells everyone in the pub the sex of her unborn baby. Violet can’t believe that Sean has betrayed her by finding out and telling everyone when he knew how important it was to her. Furious, she tells him that she’s sick of him interfering with her baby. How will Sean cope with Violet’s constant assertions that the baby is hers? Sally (Sally Whittaker) bumps into John (Graeme Hawley) in the pub and presents him with a CD to say sorry for the misunderstanding yesterday. Feeling awkward, John makes his way back to a suspicious Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and lies that the CD is a gift to say thank you for the lessons. Is Sally still attracted to her tutor? Sarah’s (Tina O'Brien) still heartbroken about her dress but her week gets even worse when Audrey (Sue Nicholls) informs her that David’s (Jack P Shepherd) coming back to work. Storming out of the salon, she goes to tell Jason (Ryan Thomas) that she’s quit her job. Jason’s annoyed that she's letting David get in the way of them getting a place of their own because as neither of them are working, they’ll never be able to afford it. Clearly the honeymoon period is over for Sarah and Jason who have bickered constantly since their wedding. Does their marriage stand a chance? Elsewhere, Jodie (Samantha Seager) is still furious that Jerry (Michael Starke) left her with the kids whilst she was on a date and then blamed her for Finlay’s (Ramone Quinn) accident. She's sick of her dad’s empty promises and is gutted when she goes to meet Lloyd (Craig Charles) in the pub and he turns down her offer of a drink.
