Hayley's (Julie Hesmondhalgh) busy preparing for Christian's (Andrew Turner) visit, but Roy's (David Neilson) furious that she's lied about being his his Aunt. So, when Christian comes to the café Roy makes him feel unwelcome, not wanting to be any part of Hayley's lies. Hayley tells Chistian all about Harold and stresses that he had issues as did Cath, Chrstian's mum, they were both outsiders. Roy can't bear Hayley's dishonesty and rudely interrupts their reunion prompting Christian to leave. As Hayley apologises for Roys behaviour, Christian senses that she's keeping something from him, however Hayley cant bring herself to tell him and as is hurt when Christian leaves saying he has found out all he needs and wont be coming again. Hayley cant stop thinking about Christian but will she heed Becky (Katherine Kelly) and Roy's advice and move on? Tyrone's (Alan Halsall) suspicious when he notices Paul (Tom Hudson) grabbing the post as soon as it arrives. His fears grow when he overhears Paul talking to the loan company on the phone and referring to himself as Mr Duckworth.Determined to catch Paul out Tyrone sets a trap for him, leaving a letter adressed to Jack on the mantle piece. Later, when Tyrone realises that Paul has taken the letter, despite Molly's warning, he triumphantly tells Jack that Paul has been pinching his mail. However, Tyrone's shamefaced when Paul goes upstairs and brings the letter down telling them all that he's bought Jack (William Tarmey) and Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) a vibrating recliner as a surprise gift and this was the delivery note. Will Tyrone give up playing detective or will he be more encouraged to expose Paul?It's Seans (Antony Cotton) birthday and he's delighted when Marcus (Charlie Condou) asks him out on a date. The date is perfect and Marcus is everything Sean hoped he would be. After the meal they head to the Rovers and Marcus is impressed by how popular Sean is. As he leaves at the end of the night Sean tells everyone this has been his best birthday ever. Is Marcus the one?Meanwhile, Darryl's (Jonathon Dixon) agreed to stash some ecstasy tablets for a mate and plans to bury the pills in the garden. However, David (Jack P Shepherd) warns him that it's not a safe place and suggests that he take care of them. Where is David going to hide the drugs? Will anybody find them?Elsewhere, Carla (Alison King) gives potential customer Tony (Gray O'Brien) a tour of the factory but he's clearly interested in more than Carla's business
