'Coronation Street's Michelle Connor is pregnant.
Kym Marsh is set for a "huge storyline" over the next coming months as her character - a role she's portrayed for over 10 years - learns she's expecting a baby with her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) but it won't be a smooth ride for the barmaid as she'll be rocked with drama and heartache.
A source told Mirror Online: "As always it's not going to be all plane sailing. It's another huge storyline for Kym."
It's not known what will happen to Michelle but it was recently revealed a huge explosion will tear through the cobbles and "at least one" major resident will not make it out alive.
An insider said earlier this week: "This is going to be up there with some of the best scenes in 'Corrie' history. Characters are going to be crawling through flames to escape, and there's talk of killing at least one character."
The dramatic storylines are all part of Kate Oates' plan to shake up the soap following her takeover as the producer.
She's also brought in Tony Prescott - who has worked on all of 'Coronation Street's live episodes - to help her excel.
The source said: "The plans being put together are huge and Kate bringing in Tony shows that it's going to be far from a straightforward one."
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that 'Coronation Street' will be broadcasting six episodes a week from late 2017.
