Kym Marsh has hinted her 'Coronation Street' character could reunite with Steve McDonald at some point.
The 42-year-old actress portrays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, and while the Bistro manager is currently happy with Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill), she admitted there could be a possibility Michelle might get back with her ex Steve (Simon Gregson).
She said: "Everyone says this to me all the time.
"We tend to keep going round to each other again, you never know. Who knows what's to come in the future but at the moment she is very much Team Robert."
Kym has likened Michelle and Steve's relationship to famous 'Friends' characters Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), who were the subject of constant will-they, won't-they speculation from fans during the popular show's run.
She said: "They always say we are very much the Ross and Rachel of 'Coronation Street'."
Michelle and Robert will be up close and personal once again in 'Corrie' this week when they find themselves locked in the freezer at the Bistro after getting passionate, and Kym joked they will have a "frosty" time.
Speaking on ITV's 'Lorraine', she added: "A freezer, it's not the most romantic of places. It's very frosty for them both."
Kym recently hinted Nicola Thorp could make a return as Corrie's Nicola Rubinstein at some point, and she wished her and fellow cobbles departee Catherine Tyldesley luck away from Weatherfield.
She said: "It was announced recently that Nicola Thorp is leaving the soap. I'm sure it's not the last we've seen of her - she's a great actress.
"Last week, Catherine Tyldesley filmed her final scenes on Corrie. I wasn't involved in her last scene but I heard it was quite emotional.
"Sadly, I didn't see her to give her a hug goodbye but I send her a text.
"She's a great actress and I'm sure she'll do really well in whatever she does next."
