'Coronation Street' is set to be rocked by the arrival of two more members of the Connor family.
Aidan Connor, played by Shayne Ward, was welcomed onto the street when Carla Connor (Alison King) let her gambling addiction spiral out of control, threatening the future of Underworld.
However, despite their business relationship smoothing out over recent weeks, the arrival of Aidan's father Johnny (Richard Hawley) and sister Kate (Faye Brookes) causes a stir when it becomes apparent that Aidan hasn't been entirely truthful about the origins of the cash he's invested into the business.
Kate - who is a distant cousin of Carla's best mate Michelle Connor, played by Kym Marsh - is passionate about her family and is looking forward to marrying female soldier Caz.
Johnny isn't shy about getting his hands dirty when it comes to business, having earned a good reputation for his hard work but he refuses to be pushed round by anyone and will gladly stick his ground if it comes to it.
Johnny and Kate will join Carla, Michelle and Aidan on screen from Monday October 5.
