With Carla desperate to get Peter alone so she can tell him the news of being pregnant, she's constantly thwarted in her efforts making her grumpier than ever with the staff of Underworld.

Vowing to stand by his wife, Peter realises just how much he loves Carla and is consumed by guilt, and so when Tina catches up with him and gives him some baby news of her own, he's left shaken up.

Meanwhile, the break-in at Phelan's house leaves him suspicious and whilst Owen and Gary deny any knowledge of what happened, he's not willing to believe them and turns the council against Owen.

Elsewhere, Sally thinks it's time Maddie moved out as she's overstayed her welcome, forcing her and Sophie to come clean about her relationship, while Gail is left shaken when she comes face to face with pictures of her house intruder.

Also in tonight's double episode, Stella reveals she's leaving Coronation Street for a better life in New York, leaving her daughter Eva less than impressed.
