Coronation Street characters are going to be left fighting for their lives when a minibus crashes on the famous ITV soap.
Bosses are now working on the storyline which will see some of the most-loved names involved in a devastating accident early next year, with the staff of Underworld caught up in the smash.
The group will be embarking on a work trip in a Street Cars minibus driven by Steve McDonald - currently trying to cope with depression on the show.
Details are being kept underwraps, but it's been revealed that multiple characters will end up in hospital and at least one life will be at huge risk.
The dramatic stunt will be filmed this year before Christmas, with suitable locations currently being scouted for the scene to ensure it's as spectacular as possible.
