Steve (Simon Gregson) tells Michelle (Kym Ryder) he didn't sleep with Shania because he was thinking of her. Worried he has lost her he tells Liz (Beverley Callard) how much he regrets losing Michelle, which Michelle overhears making her begrudgingly smile. Steve explains to her he was an idiot and Michelle concedes that it would be a shame to throw everything away over a drunken kiss.Happily back at work she tells Lloyd that Steve was completely honest about his holiday leaving Lloyd very surprised but his reaction drops Steve in it again. Will Michelle find out the whole truth about Shania?Ashley (Steven Arnold) apologises to Audrey (Sue Nicholls) for being short with her but she is surprised when Casey (Zoe Henry) opens the Peacock's door wearing Claire's apron. Kevin (Michael LeVell) calls to see him for a drink but Ashley tells him he wants to stay with Joshua. He confides in Casey that he is worried people will be talking but she reminds him she is only helping out.David (Jack P Shepherd) asks Mel (Emma Edmondson) out for a drink which she accepts.

Sarah (Tina O'Brien) teases him about the clothes that he is wearing but he gets his own back by telling her he thinks Jason (Ryan Thomas) doesn't want to marry her.

Carla (Alison King) tells Rosie (Helen Flannigan) that there will always be a job for her at the factory but Sally (Sally Whittaker) tells Kevin she thinks Rosie is becoming bedazzled by Carla.
