Steve (Simon Gregson) is grateful Eileen (Sue Cleaver) decides to keep last night's brief encounter and close escape to herself. Eileen's peaceful last day on the Island is interupted when Jason (Ryan Thomas) calls her mobile, angry that she is going to miss the meeting with the vicar. In her frustration Eileen throws her phone into the sea! Steve and Eileen then reflect about the state of their lives and relationships. Eileen thinks she has wasted the best years of her life on her kids and that she should give up on men. Steve resolves that after a series of bad relationships that the only girl in his life is Amy. They both vow that they will always have each other to rely on.Over at The Platt's, Gail (Helen Worth) and Sarah (Tina O'Brien) are busily tidying the house in preparation for the vicar's visit, whilst David (Jack P Shepherd) is doing his best to stir things up.With the Vicar there and wedding disussions in full flow, Jason looks worried when the Vicar reminds him that marriage is for a long, long time, is he having doubts again? Later, Sarah realises that she's got something on David when Jason points out that he fancies Mel (Emma Edmondson).

Norris (Malcolm Hebden) gets some bad news about his ex-wife Angela, and Rita (Barbara Knox) has to persuade him to do the right thing.

Janice (Vicky Entwistle) is forced into making a decision with Roger (Andrew Dunn), which leaves Leanne (Jane Danson) feeling guilty.

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) gives Sally (Sally Whittaker) some peace and quiet to study by taking Rosie (Helen Flanagan) and Sophie (Brooke Vincent) out for Sunday dinner.
