It’s the day of the trial and following Tracy’s (Kate Ford) revelations about Charlie’s death, Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) tells Ken (William Roache) everything whilst a vulnerable Tracy seeks comfort from Steve (Simon Gregson). Ken is furious with Tracy for putting Deirdre under pressure and the moral situation she has put them in, and confronts Tracy. Deirdre is unsure what she will say in court and Blanche (Maggie Jones) gets curious. Meanwhile, Liam (Rob James Collier) continues to flirt with Leanne (Jane Danson), asking her out for a drink. But as Leanne playfully resists, focused on the impending sale of number seven, Liam is harbouring a secret that could turn things a bit sour.As the Morton household settle into the street, Kayleigh (Jessica Barden) is struggling and doesn’t want to go to school, revealing that she wants to move back in with her mum.Elsewhere, Molly (Vicky Binns) teases Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) about Tracy, and Norris (Malcom Hebden) is prompted to cook for Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) after her difficult day.
