Eileen (Sue Cleaver) is stunned by Emma's (Stephanie Wareing) claims that Charlie is in fact Holly's dad and refuses to accept that the child she has cared for for almost four months is not her flesh and blood after all. She queries Emma's motives - is she actually concerned about the baby or is she really after Charlie's money? Emma insists that it is her child that she cares about but realises that Eileen is not going to give her up without a fight. As Emma leaves empty handed Eileen wonders how she is going to break the news to Jason (Ryan Thomas).Jodie (Samantha Seagar) and Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) are shocked to discover that Kayleigh (Jessica Barden) and Finlay (Ramone Cameron Quinn) have been left to fend for themselves whilst Theresa enjoys herself on holiday and they agree with Jerry (Michael Starke) that Finlay should stay with them. Jerry poses as a bailiff to repossess some of Theresa's things to make life more comfortable for them back on Coronation Street.Bill (Peter Armitage) is delighted when Audrey (sue Nicholls) announces she has decided to invest in the builders yard and Jason is delighted that the future looks so rosy - unaware of the secret Eileen is keeping from him.Elsewhere Paul (Sean Gallagher) loses another round of golf and advises Steve (Simon Gregson) to bide his time with Michelle.
