Carla (Alison King) confronts Leanne (Jane Danson) about whether she has slept with Paul (Sean Gallagher), but she won't give a straight answer. Carla decides to make her own enquiries and tells Leanne to forget about their business arrangement. She gets the number of the escort agency and calls pretending to be Leanne, asking them to ring Paul because she thinks he has her missing bracelet. Back with Paul, the agency calls him about the bracelet and Carla has him trapped. Will Paul be able to worm his way out of this one? Vernon (Ian Reddington) and Liz (Beverley Callard) go to the licensee lunch where they bump into Derek (David Hounslow) and Linda (Sarah Parks). Liz is mortified at having to join the couple. Derek dares to play footsie with Liz in their presence. Linda begins to talk to Liz about Derek's shortcomings and tells her she is very lucky to have Vernon. Will anyone catch Derek flirting with Liz?Elsewhere, Jamie (Rupert Hill) tells Sean (Antony Cotton) he will need to cheer Violet (Jenny Platt) up. Violet doesn't want to talk to Sean about her date with Tam. Sean wants to know what is wrong with her and she finally confides in him that she only wanted to go on a date so she could get pregnant not because she fancied Tam.Kirk (Andrew Whyment) asks Chesney (Sam Aston) to keep an eye out for who Fiz's (Jennie McAlpine) new fella is.
