Becky faces the sack after succumbing to her dodgy past. Becky (Katherine Kelly) wakes up in despair, stranded in the Croppers' car in the middle of the countryside, with Slug (Marshall Lancaster) nowhere to be found. After returning, Slug suggests dumping the car in town for the police to find, much to Becky’s dismay. She lays into Slug but he drives off, leaving her stranded. Meanwhile, Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) have reported the car missing. When Becky finally turns up for work, she plays dumb but when the car is finally found her coat is discovered inside. Will this be the final straw for Hayley?Tracy (Kate Ford) has stayed out all night and Ken (William Roache) is furious. Ken makes it plain he’s angry with her but she is unapologetic for her actions. She causes further outrage by revealing she has spent the night away from home with a mystery man, but who is this stranger?Sonny (Pal Aron) returns from Dublin bearing gifts for Michelle (Kym Ryder). Clearly smitten by him she is pleased when the family make it clear that they too approve of him being in her life.
