Ryan (Ben Thompson) is still missing and Michelle (Kym Ryder) has had yet another sleepless night and is getting more anxious with every passing moment. Meanwhile, Ryan is still sitting outside Nick's house and is shocked when Alex (Dario Coates) approaches him on the way back from school and demands to know why he's been hanging around. Ryan attempts to run away but Alex is persistent and wrestles him to the ground as he continues to question him. Infuriated that Ryan won't give him any answers, Alex eventually punches him, forcing him to reveal that Nick is his father and they were swapped at birth. Alex is incredulous and after he hits Ryan a second time a full scale scrap breaks out between the two boys as they tumble into the road. In the pub, Michelle still hasn’t heard from her son and is horrified when she gets a phone call from the police telling her Ryan is at hospital after being involved in a road accident. Will he be okay? Will Michelle ever forgive herself if he's not? Meanwhile, as the neighbours come round to No.9 to pay their respects to Jack (William Tarmey), who's finding it hard to come to terms with Vera's death, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is worried that he' s avoiding talking about arrangements for the funeral.Elsewhere, Liam (Rob James-Collier) decides to ask Ryan to be his best man in a bid to assure him he’s still part of the family.
