Underworld is closed. The factory ladies are waiting outside and neither Liam (Rob James-Collier) or Carla (Alison King) are answering their phones. Embarrased that she has left her factory keys at her desk, Rosie (Helen Flanagan) says she has keys to Carla's flat so she will get the spare factory keys. The factory workers head off for a brew whilst they wait. But as she reaches Carla's street Rosie stops in her tracks, she watches in amazement as Liam steps out of the door backwards with Carla's arms around his waist. Rosie hides and watches them kiss whilst filming on her mobile phone.
After an oblivious Liam walks past, she checks her phone but then drops it making a loud noise. Liam has crossed the road by now but Carla hears the noise. As Rosie picks up her phone, she looks up to find Carla over her. Rosie pretends she has dropped an earing but Carla knows full well she saw her and Liam. But she has no idea the whole thing was caught on camera.
Over at the café, Maria opens up to Marcus ( Charlie Condou). She confides in him that she misses Liam. It is clear to Marcus that Maria is obviously regretting the split, Marcus tells her they are both exhausted and that she should talk to Liam.
Liam arrives home to find Maria already there, he is shocked to see her and she appears scared of saying the wrong thing. She begins to tell him how she feels and begs him to take her back. How will he react?
Meanwhile Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is still frustrated with Julie (Katy Cavanagh) and her interference with Chesney (Sam Aston). Julie offers to help Chesney with his lines, but Fiz abrubtly tells her she has already offered. Julie continues questioning Chesney about what is wrong with him - creating even more tension between her and Fiz, and making Chesney feel awkward. Meanwhile Julie misreads the situation and tells Kirk that Fiz is jealous of their relationship. Kirk doesn't believe her but Julie insists that he needs to spell it out to Fiz. Kirk is confused, as he doesn't really know what he is spelling out.
Elsewhere on Coronation Street, Paul (Tom Hudson) is feeling down about the thought of going to prison. Ted (Michael Byrne) offers to drive Gail to the young offenders unit to see David. Deirdre (Ann Kirkrbide) begins to notice Liz's affections for Harry.
