Netflix is the world’s leading streaming service, largely due to its huge collection of movies, TV shows, documentaries and more. Next month (February, 2022) will see quite a few series land on the platform; here are just seven of them!
Gabby’s Dollhouse, Season 4 – February 1st
As well as releases for adults, Netflix also has a couple kids’ series set to release in February.
Gabby’s Dollhouse’s fourth season will be hitting the platform on February 1st, and follows Gabby (Laila Lockhart), along with her host of feline friends, as they traverse their way through her magical dollhouse, where twists, turns and surprises are in abundance.
Raising Dion, Season 2 – February 1st
Raising Dion stars Ja'Siah Young in the titular role of a young boy with incredible powers.
Dion’s mother, a single parent, must hide her son's amazing superpowers from the world for fear he will be exploited, all the while investigating their origins and the death of her husband.
Dark Desire, Season 2 – February 2nd
Dark Desire follows married woman, Alma Solares (Maite Perroni), who spends a weekend away that sparks both desire and destruction.
Alma decides to spend a fateful weekend away from her home and family, a weekend that ignites feelings of passion and lust; however, it soon ends in disaster, and Alma is forced to question the truth about those that are close to her.
Kid Cosmic, Season 3 – February 3rd
Season 3 of children’s show, Kid Cosmic, will be arriving on Netflix on February 3rd, and sees the adventures of Kid (Jack Fisher) continue.
Kid Cosmic follows Kid, a very creative boy who, after stumbling across five magic rings, gains some pretty amazing superpowers.
Sweet Magnolias, Season 2 – February 4th
Sweet Magnolias is a fan-favourite Netflix series that focuses on the ups and downs of family life.
Maddie (JoAnna Garcia) and her life-long best friend Dana (Brooke Elliott) always have each other’s backs as they do their best to maneuver through life while juggling relationships, family, and their careers, all in the small town of Serenity.
Love is Blind: Japan, Season 1 – February 8th
Love is Blind is a popular Netflix series that focuses on a number of singles finding love: the catch? They’ve never seen one another.
Netflix is taking this concept and bringing it to Japan. Love is Blind: Japan hits the streaming service on February 8th, and sees Japanese singles search for love, without even seeing who they're falling for.
Catching Killers, Season 2 – February 9th
Catching Killers returns to Netflix next month for a brand new, shocking season in which the deadliest criminals are hunted down.
Crime docuseries are almost always in demand; audiences are always intrigued to see how famous killers and criminals were caught, so this second season of Catching Killers will be the perfect show to satisfy that true crime itch.
