So - week two of The X Factor and the theme was 'Reinvention', giving contestants and their mentors a chance to revamp a classic and make it 'their own'.

First to perform was 4th Impact. I have heard a lot about these girls and how bright and bubbly they are. However, I couldn't help but find their performance somewhat OTT and annoying. I guess though, that's what people must've thought about Jedward, and they managed to make a decent career! But for me, their cheesy stance on the Girls Aloud track did not tickle my pickle!

Mason Noise has had a tough time so far on the show. Having learnt his lesson, he was brought back into the competition as the judges believed that despite his arrogance, he has amazing potential. Mason's previous music videos online in the last few years suggest he has been chasing the dream for a while now.

This week his mentor Nick Grimshaw decided to spruce up Mason's image, leaving Simon Cowell very impressed, saying how thoughtful it was of Mason to come dressed as him! Personally I feel that Mason veered too far from the real Mason Noise, whom I believe to be much more edgy and cool.

Mason escaped the bottom two by a whisker this week, after Nick Grimshaw sent the vote to deadlock. I hope to see more of his own artistic flare in his future performances.

Now, Anton Stephans has been one to look out for all along... so far. Yet it was much to the public's amazement that he escaped the bottom two this week. His performance was far from his usual strong, emotional ballads.

OK, so I guess you could call him brave for stepping out of his comfort zone this week. However his vocals seemed weaker and I don't think the song was suitable for Anton's range! Although, I did want to add that, speaking from experience, this may not have been his choice of song. In fact, he may not have had all that much say altogether in this week's performance.

Wow, I have to say as a single man, I may have fallen slightly in love with Louisa Johnson! This girl has some serious pipes!

I know Ché Chesterman personally, as he is a fellow Essex lad. He is insanely talented, but I'm sure he's fully aware of how heated Louisa just made this competition! I don't say this lightly, but I feel she and Ché could be our 2015 winners! I think Louisa is the full package.

For Seann Miley Moore, this was not an outfit I'd have chosen personally - but whatever floats your boat! Incredible vocals, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep him in the competition this time! I wish him well in the future though and I'm sure this is not the last we see of Mr. Moore.

I think this week the performance level was higher than last week and I'm sure it will only improve as the competition gets hotter and the contestants get further into their stride. Take a look next week to read my thoughts on week three. I will be comparing everything to my personal experiences on the show. Can't wait to share more of my thoughts with you all!
