NOTE: Spoilers
Last night's episode of Revenge saw things go from bad to worse for Emily. Not only did her ultimate plan go all wrong, but she suffered from her gunshot wounds in a worse way than any of us imagined.
Of course she survived - she's the show's central character - but did we really expect her to lose her memory entirely?

With his mother Victoria in the frame for attempted murder, Daniel takes it upon himself to confess to her and let her know that he'll be handing himself in as soon as he's got a lawyer.
Hoping to protect her son, she goes to Conrad and demands that he help frame Lydia, which they'll be able to back up using the photographs that Margaux took moments after Emily was shot proving she wasn't by Conrad's side as the pair earlier claimed.
Meanwhile, Nolan hopes to visit Emily in the hospital but his hopes are dashed when Victoria stops him, and Patrick refuses to give him a helping hand.

Thinking of a different way to get Emily out of the ward, he leaves a mobile phone in the hospital so that he can set up a hotspot and access patient files. Thinking that Emily is simply using the amnesia as a way to gain more time, he sends Aiden in to collect her, but when she freaks out and shouts for help, the two realise she really has forgotten everything.
Informing Jack, he refuses to go and see her as he blames himself for the situation she's been put in, but gives Nolan a copy of the photographs that Margaux took the night of the shooting and kept from the police.
However, when Charlotte reveals that Emily told her that her father was David Clark, Jack instantly comes around to the idea of trying to bring her memory back by visiting her, and lets her know she's the toughest person he's ever met in his life, and although she doesn't feel it now and they've had many bad moments, she's something special.

Handing her the necklace that Amanda was wearing when she died seems to do the trick to bring some of her memory back, and she has flashbacks of the night her friend and ally died. "Daniel", she says. "It was Daniel who shot me."

Sidenote: We're introduced to a creepy nurse who seems to want to kill Emily so that she can have Aiden all to herself. She's an old friend of his and still loves him, and has convinced him she can be used to help their cause.
Also, Patrick wants to help his mother Victoria take down every person who's ever wronged them. He's giving off very strong Emily vibes right now. A child truly would do anything for their parent, but Patrick needs to realise he's fighting for the wrong side.
Revenge continues next Monday at 9pm on E4.
