Union J will be returning to 'The X Factor' this year.
The four-piece boyband have been talking about returning to the show for a live performance, just one year after they shot to fame, finishing fourth in the reality TV competition. Band member JJ Hamblett says the group are keen to go back on the programme.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Hopefully we'll be performing, we don't know yet. There have been talks but it would be lovely to go back so you never know!"
Since leaving the show, the boy band - JJ, Josh Cuthbert, Jaymi Hensley and George Shelley - have gone on to sign a record contract with Sony and are gearing up to release their debut album on October 28, but JJ has warned this year's 'X Factor' wannabes to be prepared for a tough journey after the show.
The 25-year-old singer said: "I'm watching 'The X Factor' now, yeah, I've always been a fan of 'X Factor' even before I went on the show, so it's weird watching it now.
"But good luck to all the contestants, they must realise they have a hard journey ahead of them so get ready for it."
Union J launched their first official memoir, 'Our Story', at Waterstones in Bluewater yesterday (26.9.13).
