Stereo Kicks have become the latest act to get the boot from The X Factor, just a week away from the semi-finals.
The eight-strong group were voted off the show after battling it out in a sing-off with Lauren Platt.
Louis Walsh and Mel B opted to send Lauren home, with Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini sending the group packing.
This took to the vote to deadlock, at which point it was confirmed Stereo Kicks got the lowest number of public votes and would be leaving the competition.
Speaking later on, Louis insisted: "It was awful. I really think everybody made a mistake.
"It's awful that they're gone. I think they had so much more potential."
Simon however defended the decision, telling the crowds on The Xtra Factor: "The sing-off is there for us to make the decision about who was best on the night.
"I didn't chicken out."
He added that he would initially have sent Lauren home but changed his mind based on their performances.
