Simon Cowell is said to be sick of Louis Walsh taking opportunities to wind people up.
The X Factor boss is now reportedly questioning Louis' future as a judge on the show because of the effect he has on fellow mentors Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
Speaking to Now magazine, a source revealed: "The three judges are barely speaking to Louis right now. Simon's sick of him winding everyone up and tensions have been mounting for weeks.
"Cheryl and Mel keep saying they're not sure they can put up with him for the rest of the series. Simon reminds them they only have until Christmas, but he also finds it hard not to lose his cool over Louis' attitude."
Louis came under fire when he sent a vote to deadlock, resulting in Paul Akister being sent home, but his feud with Cheryl has been going strong for years.
She had said previously: "I accept him for what he is. But he's not someone I'd call tomorrow if I was in a crisis."
