Sarah-Jane Crawford thinks Olly Murs needs to learn to "blag it" on 'The X Factor' live shows following his elimination gaffe.
The former 'Xtra Factor' host believes the 31-year-old singer's awkward slip-up, in which he revealed that contestant Monica Michael had been eliminated before taking it to deadlock, was mainly down to his lack of experience.

She told BANG Showbiz: "If I ever have a slip up, I usually blag it and carry on going or like, I said something wrong at the MOBOs because I couldn't get my words out so I just made a joke. I just think you've just got to keep it moving.
"Everyone is human. It's not as easy as people think. Everyone thinks it's just, 'Hi I'm Sarah-Jane, how are you?' But it's really not that easy.
"And it's certainly not easy on a show like that with your bosses sitting in front of you. I think he is doing an amazing job anyway."
Show boss Simon Cowell and the other judges - Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - all witnessed Olly's error, for which he profusely apologised for both on the night and the day after.
According to Olly's co-host Caroline Flack, Simon wasn't too bothered by the slip-up as he realises mistakes can happen on live television.
Caroline said previously: "Simon was really lovely. He's a good boss. He's not the kind of guy who's like 'You shouldn't have done that!'
"He's just like, 'You live and learn. It's what happens.' "
