Paul Akister has been eliminated from this year's The X Factor, meaning he won't take part in the X Factor tour.
The singer took to the stage for a sing-off which saw him take on Emeli Sande's 'Clown', but he was booted after receiving the least public votes.
Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell both opted to save Jay James whilst Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini saved Paul, who was visibly upset after hearing his fate, unable to talk to host Dermot O'Leary.
Mel criticised the public's decision, stating: "He is incredible. That's wrong."
This is the second time Paul's X Factor dream has come to an end, after being taken out of the competition in 2013 at Louis Walsh's judge's houses stage.
Paul was also forced to defend himself this year when Simon made comments about him "complaining" about his song choice.
Speaking ahead of the Saturday night live show Paul said: "It looks like I'm miserable, but I'm not. I'm just worrying about what they're going to say.
"Obviously I suffered a knockback last year and didn't get to live shows, so this year I'm constantly thinking. And when I'm thinking my face just goes still.
"I should be smiling, but I'm just concentrating. But now I'm just going to go out there and have a good time."
