Olly Murs thinks it's going to be "really tough" to replace Dermot O'Leary on 'The X Factor'.
The 30-year-old singer has confessed his nerves have "kicked in" following the announcement he and Caroline Flack - with whom he presented the ITV2 spin-off show 'The Xtra Factor' from 2011-2012 - are to replace Dermot following his decision to step down after eight years.
He said: "I can't wait, it's going to be amazing. I think nerves have definitely kicked in a little bit. I'm like, 'Wow, it's going to be quite an amazing thing to do'.
"Obviously at the moment I'm focusing on the tour, but I'm really excited. It's going to be really tough for me and Caroline obviously replacing someone like Dermot."
However, the 'Wrapped Up' hitmaker - who is currently on tour in the UK - thinks he and Caroline will help to mix-up the format of the show.
He told Free Radio: "When we did 'The Xtra Factor', the show had never had a twosome to do it before. It's the first time the 'X Factor', the main show's had that. So we're looking to bring something fresh, something different. Of course Ant & Dec are the pinnacles of that, and do it so well.
"So we just want to be ourselves and have a lot of fun and I think it's going to be really great. I think 'X Factor' and Simon [Cowell] wanted to revamp the show, and do some new changes, and obviously we're delighted to be a part of it. I'm excited! I love TV and I love 'The X Factor'."
