Nick Grimshaw will be joined by Mark Ronson at the Judges' Houses stage of 'The X Factor'.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ has reportedly asked his close pal and 'Uptown Funk' hitmaker Mark to help him decide which contestants from the boys category to put through to the Live Shows on the talent show.
A source shared: "Mark is an absolutely massive name in the music world. He was already big but 'Uptown Funk' took him to a new level.
"Grimmy has been criticised in recent weeks and some people have suggested he doesn't have the necessary credentials to judge or mentor acts.
"Mark is one of his mates and was very happy to help him out. And if there's one thing he's got in abundance, it's credibility."
It has also been revealed that while the other judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora - will be jetting off to exotic locations for this part of the competition, Nick, 31, will take his team to his hometown of Manchester because of his busy schedule.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "Obviously Manchester isn't the most exotic of locations. But Grimmy's radio schedule is so hectic that he couldn't go jetting off anywhere."
