Louis Walsh doesn't see the "point" in 'The X Factor's 4th Impact.
The former judge - who was dropped and replaced by Nick Grimshaw earlier this year - has been impressed with the talent on this series but doesn't think the four-piece from the Philippines, who are competing in Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's Groups category, will manage to rake in many public votes.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I don't see the point of the four girls from wherever they're from. I don't know who's going to vote for them.
"Where are they from? They're really good but I just don't see the point."
The music manager, who saw the likes of Westlife and Boyzone achieve success in the 90s, believes Louisa Johnson, 17, has what it takes to win the show but thinks Che Chesterman is nipping at her heels.
He explained: "There are two people I like in it. I like Louisa and Che. Either or. Che is an amazing singer. It doesn't matter what you look like if you've got the talent. I think Louisa is probably the biggest star.
"She's kind of Joss Stone. She'll be the best winner for me, from what I've seen, but I think the talent is really good on 'X Factor' this year."
However, Louis thinks the judges did the wrong thing voting out Sean Miley Moore two weeks ago because he had so much more to give, but is confident he'll be able to land a role in theatre one day.
He said: "Sean was really good and he was interesting. I think they lost him too early. He was very theatrical. I would have kept him, if I was there. I think he should be in musicals - he has the clothes! He certainly has the wardrobe. "
