Louis Walsh has confirmed that Nick Grimshaw will replace him as a judge on 'The X Factor'.
After much speculation that the 30-year-old BBC Radio One DJ was set to take his place on the next series of the TV talent show, the 62-year-old talent manager has said that the rumours are true.
Louis said: "He's got my job. I've flat out left. I'm not going back to the show, absolutely gone. I'm pleased as I get to do my actual job now."
The former Westlife manager - who has been a judge on 'The X Factor' for 11 series - went on to warn Nick that the role is a lot of "hard work".
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Louis said: "I don't think he realises the hard work he has to put in though. It's going to be hard work for him. You don't just show up. It's three or four days a week. You have to mentor, it's a lot of hard work."
While Louis insisted that Grimmy is definitely taking his spot, show bosses are remaining tight-lipped about the next series' line-up.
An 'X Factor' spokesperson said: "No formal decision has been made regarding the full judging line-up for this year."
