Lauren Platt could miss this weekend's The X Factor because of illness.
The wannabe singer has been hit by a nasty bout of flu and the ITV production crew are unsure if she'll be ready to perform on the live show.
A source revealed to The Sun newspaper: "Lauren has been really ill. Earlier in the week we had to cancel an entire day of filming so she could go to bed."
They went on to say how Lauren is "determined" to keep her spot on the show despite fearing that singing could damage her voice going forward.
"At the moment she is determined to sing tomorrow regardless and no one wants to tell her otherwise.
"[But] she is also worried that being ill will affect her performance if she goes on. The odds are really against her this week."
It was also revealed this week that fellow contender Fleur East is dating fashion designer Marcel Badiane Robin.
The pair have reportedly been secretly dating for several months, and another source told The Sun: "They have been dating for a while now and it is definitely serious.
"He is incredibly supportive of her X Factor success and wants her to go all the way, just as she is really supportive of his fashion career."
