'The X Factor's Mason Noise wants to change the public's "perception" of him.
The controversial contestant originally walked out on the show during the Six Chair Challenge following an argument with Simon Cowell but it's since been confirmed he is set to return during Judges' Houses after Tom Bleasby decided to quit and he's admitted he hopes to progress to the Live Shows so he can show people the real him.
Asked what getting to the next stage of the competition means to him, Mason said: "It would mean that I have the opportunity to show the public a different side to me and change the perception that they have of me from that one audition."
The 22-year-old hopeful claimed that while he might not have the best voice in the competition, he thinks he's more of an all rounder than some of the other contestants.
He explained: "I would never say that I am the strongest singer, but I can dance. I'm a bit more of a performer."
Mason also revealed that if he had to lose out to anyone, he'd want it to be Anton Stephans from the Overs category.
He added: "He reminds me of a classic singer like Sammy Davis Jr. To me, he is what music was about. He's just classic."
