'The X Factor''s Boot Camp stage is returning to a country manor house.
Simon Cowell wants to move the Boot Camp stage - which moved to Wembley Arena three years ago - back to country piles and luxurious hotels in order to liven things up and film the contestants' interactions and raunchy antics.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a show source said: "When Boot Camp was held at hotels and country houses, it proved to be a really great round of the competition. Inevitably, there was some really bad behaviour and people got up to no good.
"There was always drinking and often some of the contestants hooked up but X Factor never wanted to appear as though it encouraged that kind of thing. But there's no doubt it made for great television.
"Now that it's being brought back, we're certain to see a return to the wild ways of old."
It is not clear whether the Six Chair Challenge - which sees each judge pick the top six acts from their categories, only to get rid of one if someone better comes along - would transfer to the new setting. However, Simon's decision over Boot Camp isn't the only change for the new series of 'X Factor', as bosses are also hoping to film the Judges' Houses stage live, while the judging panel will see Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw joining Simon and Cheryl Fernandez-Verscini and Caroline Flack and Olly Murs taking over hosting duties from Dermot O'Leary.
