Cheryl Fernandez-Versini says the current series of 'The X Factor' has been her favourite ever.
The 'Call My Name' singer - who returned to her role as a judge last year - has confessed mentoring the Groups category has made this the best series out of the five she's worked on.
Cheryl - who has led Reggie 'N' Bollie to this weekend's final - said: "I've never mentored the groups before, and I obviously come from a group, so I wanted to this year. It's actually a lot more fun and less personal if that makes sense. Sometimes if a girl got voted out you'd think, 'Oh was it me? How are they going to cope?' It's a different dynamic; they've got each other as well as me. So it's been a really special season for me this year, it's been my favourite so far. Not that I haven't loved everyone in the previous ones, but it's just been a lot more upbeat and light-hearted and fun. I can't wait to come to work just to see Reggie 'N' Bollie smile."
The 32-year-old beauty added that she's loved working with new judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.
She explained: "It's been really refreshing and nice this year. Hearing feedback from Nick and Rita that they understand now when they used to watch me on the show, why I'd get emotional, why I'd act a certain way or choose a certain act... They understand now being in it how it feels and it's nice to have two people that understand you because they've seen it from the TV. Rita obviously understands from a performer's point of view as well and Nick, we've never had a DJ so it's interesting to hear his perspective on who he would play on the radio and who is current. So I think it's been a really good dynamic and really fun and genuine."
'The X Factor' final airs on Saturday (12.12.15) and Sunday (13.12.15) at 8pm on ITV.
