Adam Lambert has this week been announced as the third and final judge to join The X Factor Australia for this year's series, joining a panel already including Guy Sebastian and Iggy Azalea.
Lambert said of his new role: "I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest.
"Australia has always been one of my favourite places to tour. The Aussies I've met are so king and good humoured - so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is very exciting."
Airing on Australia's Channel Seven, the network have been looking to shake things up for the series' eighth season, meaning a reduction in judges and some all new names.
Further changes in the show will include a reduction in the number of live shows as well as fewer spaces for contestants to make it through to those shows.
A new host is also soon to be announced as Luke Jacobz is said to be out the door, having last year courted controversy following the loss of his driving licence when he was charged for drink driving.
The X Factor Australia will return to screens later this year.
