On Saturday (24Nov07) we watched the final six acts battle it out once again when they sung love songs live.No one expected the out come however when school teacher, Beverley was in the bottom two with Simon’s girl group, Hope.Beverley sung, ‘Without You’ in a strong performance and wowed the judges with Sharon saying, ‘You were spectacular’. But, somebody had to go and with Beverley being one of the favourites to make the final she was clearly upset. Being In the bottom two for Hope however, was nothing new, they had been there more than once previous. After the two acts give what could have been their final performance they could only pray that the judges would save them. Up first to make a verdict was Louis and of course saving his own act he said, “Beverley is a class act, she’s getting better every week, so the act I’m sending home is Hope”.Next is Simon, he didn’t hesitate either, the only word he said when Dermot asked who he was sending home was ‘Beverley’ and the audiences shock Beverley was actually surprised that Simon saved his own group.Dannii was up next to make a decision. She said “I so don’t want to do this, you’ve all sung your heart out tonight, and I have to go with the act that I think is the most consistent, so Dermot the act I’m sending home tonight is Hope”. Finally it was in Sharon’s hands, was she going to make it easy by also sending home Hope? No! Of course she wasn’t she decided to save the frisky girl group, “well it’s a really hard decision, and I’m doing this for a reason and you will realise the reason when I say it, I’m sending home Beverley”.

It next went to dead lock because the judges failed to meet a ‘majority verdict’, it was up to the public vote and because Beverley received the fewest votes she left the competition understandably devastated.

This leaves Louis with one act. Find out next Saturday who will be the next to leave, will Hope be in the bottom two again?
