Vernon Kay would "seriously consider" appearing on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The television presenter has admitted that whilst he has "never, ever had one conversation" about it, he would be up for taking part in the BBC One ballroom dance contest.
When asked if he would join the show as a contestant, he said: "If they asked me, I would seriously consider it."
The 40-year-old television personality - who is married to the show's co-host Tess Daly - believes he hasn't yet been asked to take because he is like "part of the family".
He said: "I think it's because I'm there on a regular basis. They must feel like I'm part of the family. It's been eleven, twelve years that they've been doing it and I'm always down there causing a nuisance. It's such a good show."
Whilst his wife takes the reigns of the show on a Saturday and Sunday night, Vernon stays at home with their two daughters - Phoebe, 10 and Amber, five - where they create their own version of the show in their living room.
Speaking on ITV's 'Loose Women', he said: "It's quite nice that we know when 'Strictly Come Dancing' is [scheduled], so I have the kids on Saturday night and we have a tendency to dress up and the girls put on their Disney princess dresses and stuff like that.
"I always play the professional and they play the celebrities and I spin them around!"
