The time has come for Sir Bruce Forsyth to step down from his role on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.
Bruce commented that it was the "right time to step down from the rigours" of hosting the live shows, after co-hosting the series since it began in 2004.
However, Sir Bruce will return for one-off Strictly specials at Christmas and for the Children in Need fundraiser.
"I am very proud of what the show has achieved and confident it will entertain the nation for many years to come." Bruce continued.
"In addition, I am looking forward to the specials planned with the BBC as well as some live theatre shows - so before anyone asks, I am not retiring quite yet."
Now bookies are taking bets on just who will step into his shoes - if anybody - with Anton Du Beke, Graham Norton and John Barrowman all being favourites.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to the BBC later this year.
