After being fired from the show last night, The Apprentice candidate Sanjay Sood-Smith has said he'd "lose all faith" in the series if Daniel Lassman triumphs.
The business hopeful was sent packing along with Katie Bulmer-Cooke in a double firing, and has revealed he wouldn't mind any of the remaining contenders take the £250,000 investment, except for former roommate Daniel.
Quizzed on his feelings if Daniel did win, he told BANG Showbiz: "I'd probably lose all faith in the process. You've got people who are quite likeable but maybe not as strong as the others, like Solomon [Akhtar] maybe, then there are people who come across as really strong but maybe not as likeable, which might be Mark, but with Daniel I think he's neither likeable nor strong. So if he were to win, I'd find it very odd."
He insists that Daniel is even more intolerable in real life than he has appeared to viewers on the show.
"I shared a room with Solomon and Daniel. Me and Solomon get on fantastically, he's like the little brother I never had, whereas Daniel, I know he comes across badly on screen but in reality, he's much, much worse than that."
Meanwhile both Sanjay and Katie confessed despite their upset to miss out on the final, they're relieved they don't have to be grilled by Lord Sugar's colleagues including Claude Littner next week.
"I'm definitely going to enjoy watching the others squirm. With the interviews one of the key things is, I suppose, the business plan, so I actually think I dodged a bullet in a way in that I got fired based on my business plan before having to get ripped to shreds by Claude Littner."
Katie added: "I am massively disappointed because I really feel like it's an opportunity to take it into your own hands but on the other hand I'm slightly relieved because I've never had an interview before and perhaps that wasn't the best place to start!"
