The former 'TOWIE' star split up with his 'Geordie Shore' fiancee leaving her heartbroken and insiders claim it is because he thought she had been unfaithful.
A source told Mirror.co.uk: "She was pictured out with a mystery man without her engagement ring and it all started from there.
"He strongly believes she cheated on him and they have been arguing since then, but there have been other reasons why they have been not getting on.
"Marnie denied cheating on him but he didn't believe her. He's hurt but he's putting on a brave face."
She hinted at the split, tweeting: "I couldn't of ever imagined what this day would bring. My heart is broken."
22-year-old Marnie and Ricky, 25, have also unfollowed each other on Twitter.
Ricky proposed to Marnie in June after just six months of dating, but admitted he wanted to pop the question some time ago.
He said: "I've known since the first day I met Marnie that she was the woman I was going to marry but I decided to propose about two months ago.
"I was in Florida with my parents and I told my mum what I was planning - she was so excited that she took me straight out to buy the ring."
