Peter Andre thinks his nerves are holding him back on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Mysterious Girl' singer - who is partnered by Janette Manrara - is amazed he can confidently play a concert in front of thousands of fans yet when it comes to the more intimate setting of the show's dancefloor, he is riddled with anxiety.
He said: "One of my downfalls in my nerves.
"I'm working on that because that inhibits me giving it my all.
"I play the O2 Arena and don't get nervous, but with this I am...
"The other week I was up at the Trafford Centre in Manchester - I performed three songs in front of around 10-15,000 people. I didn't even have time to rehearse but I was fine.
"It's very different when you are being judged and I don't want to let Janette down."
And Janette admits she's had to make their routines less complex than she'd like because Peter's musical commitments have shortened their rehearsal time.
She said: "I always try to put a lot of content in my routines.
"But because we've had limited time in the past, I couldn't give Pete a routine that would be insanely difficult. I have to be realistic.
"I would rather Pete go out there and give a good performance than try and push him to do something that ends up looking horrible on the night."
Peter is thankful Janette is a tough partner who won't let him have an easy time in rehearsals.
He told OK! magazine: "She's pretty strict. But she is encouraging. If I do something right, she will say excellent. But if I do something wrong...
"From the first show I said I want a partner who'll tell me what to do. I don't want somebody telling me it's great when it isn't.
"Janette is assertive and pushes you. But she does that because she knows you can do it."
