Peter Andre was training for eight hours a day before he was voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker has insisted he couldn't have worked any harder to perfect his moves despite his last two dances, the Jive and the American Smooth, receiving much lower scores from the judges than his previous performances.
Asked how many hours a day he's been training, he said: "About eight hours. I have most Sundays off, which is a big family day. I love it."
The 42-year-old star confessed he's been struggling to sleep since signing up for the show this summer, as he found himself waking up in the middle of the night panicking about forgetting his steps.
He told new! magazine: "I'm usually really good at sleeping but it's so intense, I've started waking up in the night trying to remember things. I usually have sleepless nights on a Friday, depending on how the rehearsals go.
"I'm in bed for eight hours, but whether I sleep for eight hours is a different story..."
Peter also admitted the gruelling schedule had him feeling his age much more than usual.
He added: "In the last couple of weeks I've really noticed I'm 42. But it's not forever and it's a competition."
