Paloma Faith will quit 'The Voice' if she gets a "barrage of abuse".
The 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' hitmaker is not prepared to be hurled abuse every time a show airs and insists she won't continue for the next series if the online trolls get too bad.
She said: "I haven't experienced this season yet so I don't know if I will want to do next year's series. If every day from the first show is a barrage of abuse on social media and in letter form then of course I'm not going to do it.
"Boy George and I haven't experienced it yet so there's a sceptical feeling. We're happy within us but we just hope that translates into a public reaction."
The 34-year-old singer admits she regularly asks her fellow judges how things she said have come across and admits her mother is "scared [and] worried" about her being on the show.
She added to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "I get anxiety. I talk to George a lot and ask, 'Oh, what did we say?' because we both speak before we've thought about it. Sometimes he comes up to me after and says 'What did I say? Did I say anything funny? Or did I say anything off? How did that come across?'
"My mum is scared about me doing the show because she's protective and she's worried. She loves me. She wants to protect me and stuff. She's always scared of me putting my foot in it. She says, 'You're no good for my nerves, Paloma.'"
