Millie Mackintosh thinks 'Made in Chelsea' is "trash telly".
The 25-year-old blonde shot to fame on the reality TV show before deciding to leave in 2013 after shooting five seasons.
However, Millie doesn't think people should over-analyse the E4 programme as it's the lowest form of entertainment.
When asked why she thinks 'MIC' has been so popular, she said: "It's trash telly it's best! You can watch it at the end of a tough day, and it just drifts along as you dip in and out. Fabulous!"
Although Millie is realistic about the reality format in the pecking order of programming, she will be forever grateful for the opportunity she was given by producers.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the fashion designer said: "'Made in Chelsea offered an amazing opportunity to me. Without it, I wouldn't be where I am today; it has opened so many doors."
Millie admits starring on the programme did take its toll on her as it became tough for her to differentiate between her real life and her "television life".
The beautiful blonde knew her it was time to walk away when he met her husband Professor Green - real name Stephen Manderson.
She explained: "Sometimes I honestly found it hard to differentiate what was my real life and what was my television life. I was swept up in socialising - I'd get 10 invitations a night, and I tried to pop into everything I could, which was exhausting ... I felt that it was time to leave Chelsea because without all the romantic drama, my character would seem quite dull. Although I persuaded Stephen to appear once, there was no question of him wanting to join the show."
